studio update

There hasn't been a lot of activity in my studio these past few months, I'm afraid to admit. This isn't to say I haven't been working on anything new. In addition preparing for the anticipated yet apprehensive arrival of my own pram in the hall, I've been pondering and planning a new series incorporating scale model interior sets. Unlike Plastic, which celebrated the garish the obvious and the fake, this series will have a decidedly more understated tone with with hints of menace, fear and the surreal.
After months of gathering the right pieces, I've started assembling the sets. Here's a polaroid test shot of one in progress.
I'm still keeping up with my blog aka "favourite things compendium" on a semi-irregular basis.
